In 2005 a then owner operator, Roy Davis, with his entrepreneurial vision, saw an opportunity to buy the transportation terminal and the assets of his current employer in Ardmore, OK. With the support of his wife Ginger, then 25 year old Roy, flew to Houston and made a brave pitch to buy their equipment and resume service as a new entity. With a deal in hand and his vision, Roy and Ginger went to the bank with a plan, and Asphalt Express Enterprises was born.
Since this time, Asphalt Express has grown exponentially, always trying to anticipate customers need and demands. After establishing a headquarters in Ardmore, OK which is conveniently placed between two refineries, Asphalt Express assembled an elite team of drivers as well as a management team to meet the growing customer base. Our next investment was a tank farm blending facility in 2011. This also gave us the opportunity to start a crude sales and service division. Our newest investment, a 60 acre fully equipped rail terminal, opened in 2020 amid the pandemic. With the addition of the rail terminal we are able to offer a wider variety of services within the bulk liquid market as well as raw materials and other dry bulk products.
